This weekend the 3rd edition of Trufforum Vic was held. On Friday night Nandu and Quicu welcomed more than 200 cooking and catering students from all over Catalonia. Later, together with the "tòfona de la Conca", they gave a live cooking show about how to preserve and cook truffles.
Then the short film "El misteri de la tòfona" was presented, in which Nandu and Quicu explained the keys to preserve and manipulate the truffle. Afterwards, Jubany Events was in charge of preparing the aperitif for the opening ceremony of Trufforum Vic and the presentation of the Truffle 2022 Ambassadors of Honour. Each dish was adapted to the occasion, including the diamond of Osona, the truffle, in most of the appetizers.
Finally, on Saturday morning, Nandu and Quicu presented a live cooking demonstration with a representation of different dishes from Can Jubany's great Tòfona Menu. A menu that has been offered at Can Jubany for 25 years now during the months of January to March, in the best time of the truffle season.
